Delegation of Qaziabad Welfare Forum calls on Advisor to Governor | KNO

Kupwara, June 20 (KNO): The residents of Tehsil Qaziabad of Kupwara district called upon Advisor to Governor Khurshid Ahmad Ganai on Thursday to demand establishment of new Degree College for Tehsil Qaziabad. The delegation of Qaziabad Welfare Forum while demanding college for the area said the students of the area particularly female students have to travel long on daily basis to pursue higher education. They said that establishing new degree college in the area will encourage the students of the area especially female students to pursue higher studies and hence will get befitted. They said that establishing new college in the area will also help to empower women's by encouraging them to pursue higher education. The delegation hoped that Governor will fulfil the long pending demand of the people of area for the benefit of poor students of the area especially female students.(KNO)
